Carriers in Aromatherapy
Saturday, Feb 10, 2018 @ 11:30am
held at ‘Alternative Pathfinders’
Have you ever been told to “Dilute your essential oils in a Carrier for topical application!” and wondered what a carrier is, why you need them and/or which ones are the best?
There are many different carriers in Aromatherapy that add their own unique qualities to your blend. Each month we will look at three or more, see how they differ, and learn what they bring to your blend.
You will also:
• Experience texture and aroma of the carrier oils or butters being presented this month
• Learn what qualities and properties they bring to your blend
• Learn a drop by drop technique to make your own topical blends using a carrier and essential oils
• Learn the difference between a fixed oil, an infused oil and a butter
• Create your own infused oil with dried herbs or essential oil blend as determined by the class
Price is $30
