Frankincense & Myrrh
Thurs, Dec 7, 2017
11am-1pm or 6pm-8pm
Classes held at ‘Alternative Pathfinders’
I call Frankincense the ‘Nurturing Father’ of Aromatherapy and Myrrh the ‘Nurturing Earth Mother’. For centuries, both have been revered for their ability to help us ground while cultivating clarity of mind, working from root chakra to crown. Both impart a sense of harmony – physically (Body), mentally (Mind) and spiritually (Soul), and are invaluable allies in meditation. BUT, did you know they also protects the skin, soothe respiratory complaints and more?
In this class, we will discuss some of the wonderful healing gifts these resins brings to us and why they were considered more precious than Gold when given to baby Jesus in days of old…
• Experience Frankincense & Myrrh in their resin form and discuss the different ways they can be used
• Experience the essential oils and learn more about their properties and how they may differ from the resin
• Discover if the essential oils were available during Biblical times
• Learn a drop by drop technique and make your own anointing oil and meditation inhaler.
